WATER AND POWER

• We harvest all of our rain water and guest are asked to be careful with the amount of water they use
• We have a linen (both towels and sheets) reuse program in all guest rooms.
• Low-flow shower-heads and dual flush toilets are installed in all bathrooms
• LED lights and night lights are installed in all rooms
• All roofs are insulated

RECYCLE AND WASTE

• We Provide guest room recycler baskets for newspaper, paper, glass, aluminum, cardboard, metal and plastic
• We compost all food scraps

GUEST AND GUEST ROOMS

• We stock a central library with many reused local guides and include a book swap section
• Provide our guests with walking maps, and information on public transportation
• Donate leftover guest amenities, old furniture and appliances to charities
• Provide glass cups and ceramic mugs (instead of plastic) for in-room beverages. Place cups and mugs upside down (instead of covering opening with a plastic wrapping)
• Whenever possible, we buy food and guest amenities in bulk (i.e., use refillable hair and skin care dispensers)
